Hi All,
I hope that last week went well. The National Community Schools Conference was equal parts exhausting and informative. I am very excited to share this framework/approach with you all and I'm even more excited to see how centering the voices of our community and young people moves our learning community forward in a new way. It felt great to attend a conference that supports a lot of the work we already do and provide ways for us to move forward. It's an incredibly challenging time of year to be out of the building and I am SO glad that I was able to have this experience.
Shoutouts
I wanted to share a huge shoutout to Tyler for being admin on duty last week and supporting the building. Thank you to you all who stepped up in different leadership roles to make the building run smoothly.
Kristina and David thank you for putting on a wonderful show for our community. I am so sorry that I wasn't there to celebrate. I heard from a few families that they were very pleased with the show. Thank you for providing our community with an opportunity to showcase the arts.
News and Announcements
- Staff Meeting: We will start to look at placement and start transition meetings for next school year.
- End of Year Events 24-25. This is a live document and is subject to additions or changes. I have been deleting events that have already happened.
- Friendly Reminder: As behaviors are on the rise please be aware of where you are having conversations about students. We should only be sharing information with people who have an educational "need to know." Otherwise, we need to be protecting young people's privacy.
