Hi All,

I hope that this weekend was good for you. The weather on Saturday was perfection! I wanted to share a huge thank you to you all for making the fire drill so successful last week. The first drill typically takes a little longer but you all were super speedy!

We had quite a few students who went home ill last week. Keep an eye out for the tummy bug and make sure that kids are washing their hands as much as possible. 

News and Announcements: 

• I want to share some simple tips that came from PBIS. 
• Ideas for a Greeting Checklist of students at the door
• Here are the Top 10 Tips from PBIS around classroom management and procedures. There are lots of great things to consider and think about when it comes to student voice and agency. 
• The BEDC is now gathering in the gym. Students are checking in and will have a small snack there as they get ready for their afternoon of workshops. 
• Team meetings/Wednesday PLC:
• Both PLC and Team meetings start this week
• Please look at the tabs on this document to ensure that you are covering and are covered for your meetings. 
• You will receive an email from Educlimber inviting you to our weekly team meeting. We will utilize the a meetings form to document our time together and make plans for the following week. 

Intervention/MLSS System: 

• In order to best support our MLSS System our Dream Team of Interventionists will be continuing to support EST coordination. In order to do that they will be taking the "First Friday" of every month to update data, set meetings, communicate with families, etc. IEP services and 4th grade math will still happen those days but other intervention services will not. We're trying to find the least disruptive way to make that happen.
