Hi Team,

I hope that you all had a break that gave you whatever it was that you needed. We battled some fun sickness the first week but have had some great time as a family to relax and check some things off our to-do list. 

                            
I'm looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow and connecting at staff meeting about our breaks as well as scheduling wants/needs, VTCAP and student supports.

• Rowan has a 10:00 doctor's appointment that was rescheduled from over break...ugh. I will be in the building in the morning and then take her to her appointment and run her to her school. I imagine that I will be gone from 9:30-11:15.

Talking Points from November 20, 2023 and February 12, 2024

Curriculum Council’s goal for 2023-2024 reads: In support of our students and teachers, Curriculum Council will create a work plan that advances our Coordinated Curriculum work.  The work plan will prioritize the most pressing needs related to Act 173, including writing, functional skills, social emotional learning, and data collection, and will include activities to promote clear communication and collaboration across the district. We met on February 12 to tune a draft work plan.  Here is a link to the working version for those who would like to see it.  We will finalize it next month and will then devote our time and attention to implementing it.
